Troop 569 Bedtime Stories are designed to be enjoyed by the girls at times that are convenient to them. They can be a great activity to use for wind-down time at the end of the day. These stories have been specially selected to align with the goals and principles by which Girl Scout's encourages members to live.
Some of the stories are required listening - but many are simply for pleasure. If they are required for an age group, they will be included in the requirements page for the associated badge or patch. If a story is a required activity, it will have a submission form verifying that the girl has completed this requirement.
You can also tell if listening to a story is a required activity because the title of the Story will be followed by a letter designation as follows:
D = Daisy
B = Brownie
J = Junior
Of course, required stories can also be listened to for pleasure - by any age group. If a scout listens to a story just for pleasure, she need not complete the submission form.
