Life for most of us in the United States is pretty easy. Even so, we know there are simple things we can do to make the world a better place, and Girl Scouts believes in the power of a Girl to change the world.
"What," you may ask, "Can one young girl do to change the world?"
You can help Katie's Krops provide a dinner for disadvantaged families, like our girls did last year. You can help our SPCA rebound from a destructive flood by seeking donations of supplies they will need to reopen - like our troop is doing this year. You can fill boxes with things children need in faraway places - and help give those children a better Christmas. You can donate books to a community library. You can help your parents in your own family. There is much you can do!
In many places, there are girls the same age as a Brownie who are doing amazing things - girls who change the world.
Here are a few stories of these girls. Pick one, click on the button, and take a moment to explore the pop-up website. Learn about a girl who is a lot like you, and doing such amazing work.
After you are familiar with one girl's story, click on #5.
