Far across the ocean from Knightsville is a very large county called Russia. Russia is so big that the climate can be very different from one place to another.
In Russia is an aera called Siberia. Siberia is known as a very, very cold place. Lake Baikal is located in eastern Siberia and represents the oldest freshwater lake on Earth. It is one of the largest and deepest lakes in the World, containing around one-fifth of the world’s freshwater.
Because Siberia is so very cold, even Lake Baikal can freeze solid! For almost fice months every year, Lake Baikal is frozen so hard, the people who live there have learned to use it to make music!
